Credit card processing
Business is full of tough decisions but processing cards isn’t one of them. You’ll keep customers happy and encourage spending. Win-win. The numbers don’t lie, 77% of total retail sales are now paid for by card and it’s estimated that by 2024, 16 billion card transactions will be taken a year. That’s a staggering €718bn. Who could say no to that?
We’ve a terminal to suit you.

Sounds boring, but it’s not (promise). It lets your card machine and till talk to each other for simpler sales – and we’re the only ones offering it at no additional cost.
What do you get when you combine the power of 70,000 small businesses? Better rates. It’s no joke – we use our size to negotiate with the banks and pass the savings onto you.
We know time is money, so we never waste yours. Get your new Chip and PIN machine up and running in as little as 3 business days. Boom.
What’s card processing? It’s how card payments are authorised. When a customer pays by card, we send the transaction details to the card company (like Visa or MasterCard) – they forward the transaction to the customer’s bank for checking. Still with us? If everything’s okay, the card machine completes the transaction. The bank sends the funds to the card company, who then pass the amount on to the business’ bank account within two to four working days. That’s when you get paid.
How much does card processing cost? It depends. For instance, your monthly rental fee will depend on how many card machines you use. While your card processing fees are charged per transaction and based on card types (debit and credit) and turnover. Just so you know, the higher your card turnover, the better your rate is likely to be. So the more you make, the cheaper it gets.
Why turn customers away? Taking cards can broaden your customer base. For starters, you won’t have to point them to the nearest cashpoint. Card payments can also boost impulse buying, so customers spend more money, more often.
How does fewer bank fees sound? Taking cards means less cash and cheques to deposit. If you're worried about security, don’t be. Once you’re set up to take cards, you receive instant authorisation. So you’ll know that funds have been sent directly to your business’ bank account. That’s peace of mind.
