What did you do before Paymentsense?

I worked for 16 years in B2B sales at Equifax, one of the world’s largest Consumer Credit Reporting Agencies, working with the financial sector. After leaving that role I worked for Dunn and Bradstreet before joining Paymentsense.

What made you decide to join Paymentsense?

I was fed up with corporate life, spent all my time in meetings and dealing with HR. It was stressful and frustrating so when we were put at risk of redundancy I decided to take a different approach to my career.

I wanted to be self-employed and I wanted something that offered flexibility. It had to be something that suited my skills and experience so Paymentsense seemed like a good fit. I needed to continue earning good money but I wanted to do it on my own terms and without all the baggage of a big company.

Tell us about your time at Paymentsense so far

I absolutely love it. The company is brilliant, they’re always progressing and innovating with products and services. I’ve been successful partly because I’ve treated it like an employed job, applying the same level of focus and commitment. I’m not interested in becoming a Manager, I only really want to sign up new customers and get paid for it so that’s what I do. If Paymentsense is your primary focus you’ll certainly earn the rewards.
